Woo-hoo! We're going to view a house (to rent) next Wednesday. It's £20 per month more expensive than where we're living at the moment, so it doesn't really fulfil my brief of finding somewhere cheaper. But it's on the same estate we live on at the moment, and we really love this area. It's generally quiet, OK there's a bit of scandal, but we're not talking Desperate Housewives style! Close to nice places to eat (and drink) and not far from family and friends. Traffic isn't an issue and we're right by the canal, so whether we want to go for an amble or a jog, it's only a few minutes out of the hustle and bustle of the roads.
Plus, we haven't had a rent increase during the 18 months we've lived here, so I guess the extra £20 just cover that off. I've got my fingers crossed that it's perfect. But then I'm a Piscean dreamer, so I would have wouldn't I?

Money Saved: Nothing into savings as such, but I did take my own lunch to work which saved splashing out on sarnies!
