Check Your Ad Card Vouchers. . .

If like me, you've got a hoard of store 'loyalty cards' stashed away (Tesco ClubCard - check; Boots Ad Card - check; Nectar Card - check. . .you get the idea!) then no doubt you also receive regular mailings from said companies trying to entice you into their stores, usually with some vouchers attached. I had some good ones from Nectar the other day, whereby I could pick up Grazia magazine for half price when I purchased it in Sainsbury's and presented my Nectar card and a ickle voucher.

But, that's nothing compared to the utterly fantastic deal I got from Boots. I opened the mailing expecting the norm - some money off Bodyform maybe, or perhaps 1/2 price on all vitamins? No, better than the norm - much better than the norm! A voucher for a FREE 30ml tube of No.7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum - yes, the same serum that was flying off the shelves when it was originally launched. And, the very same serum that costs, wait for it. . .£16.75 per tube! I couldn't believe it, I even had to query it with the checkout assistant as I felt like I was stealing it was such a 'too good to be true' offer. She was amazed as well, but agreed that it was indeed correct.

Woo hoo! Must admit I did contemplate flogging it on E-bay, but there seem to be a lot on there at the moment anyway and I'd only really get back the amount that I'd spend on moisturiser normally so I may as well keep it and use it when I run out of my current product.

My advice to everyone - next time you get some vouchers through - don't just stash them to look at later, take a look now - who knows what gems might be lurking amongst them!
