Ok, at present I ain't doing particularly well at this blog updating malarkey! If it weren't for that pesky housework I think things would be much easier. Ah well, it's not like we're in a position to hire domestic help now is it? Or, to lose our deposit on this place when we come to move out.
As I may have (or may not have - I am totally losing the plot at the moment!) our landlord has put our house up for sale. We're not in a position to purchase it at the moment, so it means looking for something new. We're in no desperate rush - the landlord has put it on the market for an astronomical amount given the current market, and even when he does find a buyer he has to give us two months notice. But it makes sense to look around, so we don't miss something fab! If it's at all possible we're going to try and find somewhere slightly cheaper - a task that is proving somewhat difficult as we already pay a competitive rate. Went to look at a flat today. Was lovely, but despite checking with the Estate Agents three times that it was a two bed flat, I got there to discover it was a rather pokey one bed, which we just wouldn't fit into - back to the drawing board!
Money Spent: £13 (went to see the new Indiana Jones film - was wicked, I felt about 10 years old again!!)
Money Saved: Nil - unless you count the fact that had I not gone to see the flat yesterday I would have gone shopping?!
Money Made: Nil
