Can Paul McKenna Make Me Rich?

At the moment I am attempting the Paul McKenna 'How to Get Rich, How to Spend Less' course of exercises which appeared in The Times, probably a couple of months ago now.

The course starts with a meditative CD, which you play while totally relaxing. Mr McKenna then speaks to your subconscious in a way that (my interpretation here) reminds you how fab you are and that you don't need to spend money in order to be fab. He asks us to accept ourselves as we are, to know that we can improve, but that, well, we're pretty darn OK as we are too. Seems to make sense so far, after all how often do you spend money just to make yourself feel better?

My marketing brain guesses that the idea of the course is that you'll be so inspired by Paul's techniques that you'll just have to rush out and buy his book, 'I Can Make You Rich'. Is it just me, or should that be renamed to 'You Make Me Rich'? Anyway, I have some more exercises to do which I have torn from the paper and which I shall be tackling this week. I shall let you know how I get on.

Must admit I am finding it fascinating! And, there are a few lessons I've learnt, or at least rediscovered so far, which I will tell you about in future posts.
