A belated spring clean is sweeping through the house, leaving a scarily organised trail of cleanliness, and it's sister tidiness in it's wake!
I've also had a go at some of this baking malarkey. Can I make money out of this 'talent' yet? Hmm, the phrase 'could do better' would be apt. But I shall persevere. It's a cheap hobby, and well, sampling all the cakes is a bit of a bonus too! Oh, yeh, and practice makes perfect and all that...
Here's some of my recent attempts...
In my opinion they're a touch on the dry side, and don't seem to rising as high as I would expect. Anyone who has any suggestions on ways to improve, please feel free to post (cake Viagra maybe?!). By the way the green stuff on the picture above isn't part of the cake (worry ye not) , it's a bag of basil I bought for a yummy recipe I'm concocting later in the week.
