Holiday Shopping - Part 1

Boo hiss to spending so much money on cosmetics for my impending holiday.

I know I could take what's left in bottles I already own, or decant some of my existing lotions and potions into those little travel bottles. But I'm just not that kind of girl. I have irrational fears of taking what I believe to be a half empty bottle of shampoo on holiday and discovering that in fact it's only one-quarter full and I won't have enough to last the week. Or, of those little travel bottles leaking all over my clothes and me having to spend the first night washing moisturiser out of everything!

On the plus side this beauty buying bonanza means I'll have lots left over for post-holiday pampering. Another plus is that I didn't have to buy everything that you see in this picture, some of it is left overs and others were gifts or free samples. On the downside I've still got some cosmetics left to purchase, which on the double downside leaves me with about £1.60 to spend on holiday clothes. Sob! I can feel a 'blow the budget' moment coming on. Grrrrrrrr!
