Babe's been doing more socialising on the cheap this weekend, thanks to her four wheeled friend!
Again, this one isn't rocket science, but so long as you don't mind being behind the wheel being Designated Driver (DD) for the night is a mighty good way to save some pennies.
For one, you don't have to shell out for a taxi home.
You're also saving money as you're not buying any booze. OK, in some trendy bars a coke can be almost as much as its alcoholic counterpart, but when was the last time you started downing cokes and drinking to get a caffeine rush?! Exactly! There's something about alcohol which turns even the tamest of us into an 'oh go on another one won't hurt' fiend!

Plus, as you're running an unpaid taxi service your friends will probably treat you to a few cokes and lemonades as a little thank you.
Again, by avoiding the alcohol you're not likely to get an attack of the midnight munchies so you won't find yourself in a pizza parlour throwing away your hard earned cash on a pizza that you'll wake up next to tomorrow.
Other aspects of driving on a night out which I find particularly fab are no standing around waiting for a cab and being able to play cheesy music on the way home (and sing along as loudly as you want!)!
Think you can't cope on a night out without the pop? Let's put it this way...I thought I was going to see a Red Hot Chilli Peppers tribute band last night but it turned out to be UK Guns N Roses. I'm no rocker, but if I can still have a laugh sober and in a crowd of sweating moshing men - then I'm sure you can handle a night down your local without your usual Pinot Grigio!
Just one thing - PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!! When I'm driving I don't touch alcohol at all - it's just not worth it.
