With shopping list in hand I completed my trusty grocery buying yesterday.
Unfortunately, I don't have an accurate calculation of exactly how much I spent last week, as I started my spending diary from the 1st, which was Thursday. D'oh!
However, since Thursday I have spent the grand total of £51.22 on shopping.
And, here's how I spent it:
£4.16 Body Spray & Shave Gel
£1.49 Craft Materials
£2.89 Beanburger
£4.25 Face Cream
£10.00 Birthday Gift
£1.40 Newspaper
£27.03 Groceries (total = £54.06, but split with Love of my Life)
So, let the experiment begin - can Babe cut her spending by shopping at the market...? Watch this space!!
PS> Am a bit scared about the whole thing to be honest. Am so used to picking up easy to purchase prepackaged things from the supermarket that I'm not sure I'll know what to look out for in the market. Am also, probably unnecessarily scared that it will be lots of scary people - I know, I know I'm a wuss!
