I've been in hormone hell today. Craving all those 'naughty foods' laden with fat and sugar. Desperately wanting to spend money on celebrity magazines and generally needing to splash some cash in a vain attempt to beat the 'I'm rubbish' pre-menstrual feeling. I know that even if I maxed out on the credit card, buying all the clothes, CD's, cosmetics and glossies that my credit limit could buy - I would still feel blue. In fact, I seem to remember reading that shopping 'at this time of the month' is very dangerous indeed, as your judgement is seriously impaired. That'll explain the bright red cords I bought from Top Shop many moons ago. Seemed a good idea at the hormone induced time. Hmm...
In the end I opted for purchasing some ingredients for pancakes and a 25p bag of Haribo sweets - fulfilling my desire to spend and eat my body weight in sugar.
I've said it before, but Dolly was so right...sometimes it's hard to be a woman...
