What a load of rubbish...

Unfortunately, the saving money on water research has had to take a back seat...as a Babe on a Budget emergency struck this weekend.

A mobile phone bill for £66.67 landed on my doormat this weekend!

'Ohh look at Babe gassing away to all her friends and not thinking about the financial consequences, tut, tut, tut!' you are probably thinking.

If only that were the case. The reality of it is, the contract that I am on offers 500 free text messages every month, so there I am quite happily texting away. Seems those 500 text expire after 18 months. Erk? Isn't it good customer service to reward customer loyalty, rather than charging them extra? What happens if you're with them for five years?! Do they put double your call charges? Plus, the fact if they are going to start charging me for something which was previously gratis. Would it not be a good idea to let me know?

They've also started charging me for itemised billing which I opted out of eons ago. Luckily they're refunding that. What do I mean luckily?! Rightfully!

The one thing I was wise enough to check was how much notice I need to give to terminate my account, luckily its only thirty days, so I feel some shopping around for a new mobile may be occurring very shortly...
Babe is very disgruntled and very bamboozled by the range of phones and price plans available. There's a pretty lilac phone that I like though - I'm such a girl ain't I?
He, he!
