Uh-Oh We're Going Shopping Tomorrow...

Well, I've been pretty good today. OK, I drove to work but I was hoping to secure myself a post-work doctors appointment and trekking back from there would have been a bit too much exercise for my liking!

Had a bit of a blip back at home. A bout of Friday night munchies led to Love of my Life popping to the Chinese to pick up some starters and prawn crackers - but on the plus side, we'd normally have the full set menu, so it's certainly an improvement and surely everyone has to have a Friday night treat, right?

Unfortunately the water bill arrived today. Seems kind of ironic to be paying for it when so much is falling from the sky for free. But I would rather wash in the treated stuff, so I guess I can't argue. I wonder if there's anyway you can save money on your water bill? Another thing on my list of things to look into.

Tomorrow is going to be a big test. Me and Love of my Life are going shopping to Cheltenham for the day to spend some of our Christmas money. In my mind I want to purchase a Starbucks (hey - it's been a hard week and Love of my Life will never forgive me if he doesn't get his caffeine fix! Ha, ha!) and a book about gardening. With my love of spending - will I be able to resist temptation? Wish me luck!
