Stay Tuned...

You may have noticed that one, possibly vital, element has so far been missing from my babelicious existence...a social life!

Yes, yes I know I haven't exactly been painting the town red recently, although if I'm honest my dancing shoes have seen better days. But I just wanted to reassure you that you're not reading the blog of a total hermit.

There are lots of very valid reasons as to why I've been choosing the stop at home lifestyle. Firstly, I've had the lurgy. Secondly, everyone else is broke too. And, thirdly and perhaps most vitally - TV is fantastic at the moment. Who needs to go out spending money they haven't got when you can immerse yourself in ER on a Monday, Shameless on Tuesday, Location, Location on Wednesday, Desperate Housewives on Thursday and Ugly Betty on Friday.

OK, my dedication to TV might not be the healthiest obsession, but do not worry I don't plan on becoming a permanent couch potato. But for the moment, while my finances are sorting themselves out and it's blustery outside I'm more than happy on my comfy sofa, munching Christmas choccie and watching some top shows. Beats being broke!
