So, the research into saving money on the ole water bill has begun. Apparently...and I say that, because I can't possibly believe these things actually exist, or that people buy them if they do. But, apparently, you can buy shower timers which beep at you when it's time to get out of the shower, to prevent you wasting all those luscious litres of water. A good idea in principle I suppose, I mean we've all stood there with the hot, steamy power shower pounding onto our backs trying to wash away the day haven't we? However, the slight hitch comes in the fact that the optimum shower time for water efficiency is four minutes! Four minutes?! I wouldn't even be able to rinse the shampoo out of my hair in that amount of time, let alone get clean and shave my legs. My god, I want to save money but not to the point of making people pass out through my pungent odour. Can you imagine 'Ohh, sorry I'm a bit smelly today darling, I didn't have chance to wash my armpits in the shower this morning.' Hmm...most definitely not babelicious.
As for the other, more sensible findings, well following a bit more research I'll put them all on here for all to see. Fingers crossed for some money saving magic courtesy of the local water board.
