Phew...

Thank God for going shopping towards the end of the sales when there's nothing but tat left!

Spent about £6 on Starbucks - but no day out is complete without a high-quality caffeine fix as far as I'm concerned. Then about £15 on a two-course lunch. The only other money I spent was £3.50 - going halves on a new can opener 'cause ours busted the other day.

It felt very strange going shopping and not coming back arms laden with bags. A bit disappointing really. Especially when considering this time last year I would of thought nothing of going out and blowing £200 on some new togs.

Thing is, I'm doing pretty well on the willpower thing, but unless I can come up with ways to save money on the day to day stuff (bills etc...) and bring more money in, then that dream of £5k just ain't gonna happen...
