No Obligation Books For Rent...

I visited the library today. Maybe it's just me and my bookish tendencies but I've always found libraries to be magical places. All that knowledge and information just waiting to be unleashed. The intriguing mix of old and new.

Just walking around I notice books on subjects that I never even realised I was interested in. It's as if they're calling out to me to pick them off the shelves. Willing me to learn about new things.

Whether anyone else gets this mystical feeling from walking around their local library I don't know. It might just be my penchant for nostalgia. But perhaps, if you're trying to save like me, it might be worth getting aquainted with your local library. I'm quite fortunate that I have a good book swapping cirle amongst friends and family. But that still doesn't stop me popping to the library if I need a fix of something a little deeper than chick lit. OK, so I might get some books on Waterstone's 3 for 2 before I jet off on my summer hols. But why buy, when you read them for free?

Not wanting to sound like an embassador for local public services, but using the library is great. If you're not paying for the book, you can afford to take more risks with your selection. If you don't like it, you simply take it back and make another selection. Just make sure you take your books back on time, or you'll be stacking up a non-budget friendly fine.

Anyway, off to read my 'new' book now.

Til next time,

Babe x

PS> Babe was saintly today - spent absolutely zilch!

Hmm..it's always nice to know that a broke library loving gal has options, but I think Love of my Life may have something to say about that :-)
