Sorry, Babe was being a bit rubbish yesterday. Rubbish at writing and rubbish financially for that matter! Unfortunately I was stricken with a rather common 'woman's problem' which can only be solved by a visit to the pharmacist to pick up some cream. Cream that costs £8.99, plus a smaller tube of cream to ward off any further attacks at £5.45! add that to the fact that for the past two days I had forgotten to take my sandwiches to work, which resulted in me having to buy my lunch. Then when you add the figures up, it don't look like there's going to be much money left at the end of the month. There'll be some, but no where near enough to make even a chip in that mission towards £5k. It's rather depressing really. I've hardly bought anything this month, certainly haven't treated myself to any new clothes, no magazines, no new nail polish, no posh meals out and I still don't have hardly anything to show for it...
On the plus side, when I visited the pharmacy they did give me a voucher for £3 off haircare and £5 off skincare, so I guess I can pick up some bargains, that will save me having to fork out in February.
There must be some easier ways of making the money stretch further?
