Yep, that water most def freezes all over your windscreen in these here winter months. Walking to work is definitely the cheapest and easiest option, although slightly slippy under foot! Been fairly frugal today...did succumb to some synthetic hot chocolate out of the machine at work. But for good reason. The building I work in may have been built well (Love of my Life's Dad actually helped to construct it) but I think the windows are due a replacement, good for ventilation, but not so good for keeping warm and toasty.
Went out with a fellow Babe on a Budget tonight. Luckily the pub she lives next to is a haven for us BOAB's and offers curry, rice, naan and a drink for £4.25 - not bad, eh? Add on an extra £1 for another coke and all in all a bargainous evening out really. Had an interesting conversation with Fellow Babe about differing attitudes to debt. It seems everyone handles it differently. From consolidation loans, to scrimping and saving and even burying your head in the sand and scooting off on mini breaks left right and centre.
Promise to be a good girl and do my homework of looking into how to save money on the wet stuff tomorrow.
