This penny pinching malarky is all well and good, but I've just discovered that buying the cheapest doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to save money. Spent 24p on a pair of washing up gloves yesterday, forsaking the marginally more expensive 35p variety. Big mistake! I now have a pair of washing up gloves with a slight hole between two of the fingers, resulting in my hands getting slightly soggy every time I do the dishes. From now on I'll be going for best value as opposed to the cheapest option. Ah well, you live and learn.
Right now I'm researching debt and how to be rid of it...I'll let you know my findings.
